Covid 19 update store trading hours (24 MAR 2020)

As announced by Prime Minister Scott Morrison, VIC has now implemented Stage 1 restrictions to slow the spread of COVID-19.

Following this, a number of changes have now been implemented at Waurn Ponds Shopping Centre.

The Centre remains open for business, however these stores are now restricted to takeaway only:

  • Grill’d
  • Groove Train
  • Hi Sushi

  • Kebab Empire
  • Mad Mex
  • Mrs Fields
  • Muffin Break
  • New Zealand Natural
  • Panache Cafe and Creperie
  • Sandwich Chefs
  • Schnitz
  • Subway
  • Sushi Sushi
  • Tasty Asia
  • Town & Country Pizza & Pasta
  • Waurn Ponds Fish and Chips

Communal seating areas have been removed.

Reading Cinemas are now closed until further notice.

Supermarkets have temporarily adjusted their trading hours:

  • Woolworths open 8am to 8pm daily
  • Coles open 8am to 8pm daily

Kmart are open 8am to 10pm (Mon to Fri) + 8am – 8pm (Sat & Sun)

Target are open 8am to 8pm (Mon, Tue, Wed & Sat); 8am to 9pm (Thu & Fri); 9am to 6pm (Sun)

In addition, we strongly encourage all customers to follow social distancing recommendations outlined by the Federal Government.

  • Wherever possible stay 1.5 metres apart, including within Supermarkets
  • Please wash your hands and where available, use the hand sanitisers installed at centre entry points
  • Please do not enter the Centre if you are suffering any signs of a flu like illness
