We’re dedicated to keeping your visit to Waurn Ponds Shopping Centre smooth and stress-free, which is why we are undertaking an asphalt refresh in select sections of our car park.
To minimize disruption to your shopping experience, the resurfacing works will be completed in a staged approach. During the upgrade period, certain sections of the car park will be temporarily closed, and there may be minor changes to where you normally park.
Stage 1
- Start Date: Monday, 22nd June.
- Affected Area: The rear car park and road located behind the centre.
- Details: The entire rear car park will be closed to vehicles and pedestrians while resurfacing takes place, with the exception of delivery drivers and Coles Click & Collect customers.
Parking Availability
While the rear car park is closed during Stage 1, the rest of the car park in front of the centre remains open.
Coles Click & Collect
Coles Click & Collect customers will still be able to access the regular collection bays behind the centre. Access will only be available from the Colac Rd (Coles) end.
Stage 2
- Start Date: Friday, 17th July.
- Affected Area: The car park on Colac Road, directly in front of food court entry.
- Details: This section of the car park is currently closed to vehicles and pedestrians while resurfacing takes place.
Parking Availability
The plan is to have all other areas of the car park, including the area closed for stage 1, back open during the stage 2 works.
