From Sunday, 1st March, 2026 eligible patients will no longer incur an out-of-pocket fee for standard consultations covered by Medicare.
What This Means for You
If you are eligible for Medicare, standard consultations will be bulk billed
There will be no out-of-pocket cost for standard GP appointments, however procedures and vaccinations may continue to incur a fee
You do not need to do anything differently when booking
Why You May Have Previously Paid a Fee
Appointments prior to this were billed under our previous mixed billing policy
As of Sunday, we moved to bulk billing for all eligible patients, and your standard consultations moving forward will be bulk billed

Bulk billing applies to standard consultations covered by Medicare
Some services (such as procedures, medicals, forms, or vaccinations) may still attract a fee
Our reception team will always inform you in advance where a fee applies
